Can you sport a LOB and a WOB. Well, the answer to that is in the affirmative. LOB – the straight long bob; WOB – the wavy short bob. Remember? Read my previous (descriptive) article on WOB here.
It’s huge this 2015!
So yes, you can well flaunt the LOB during working hours and WOB when you are headed to a party. But first you need to bid adieu to the long tresses (mid-length included) you’ve been loyal to way too long. Simply layer-ing or razor-ing whilst warning your hairdresser against altering the length won’t do. Go ahead; take the plunge like I did. Go LOB chops.
I was in a dichotomy too, wondering if I should give it that one shot. For, I had never gone this short ever. I got a little daring this time and went in for the asymmetrical shorter LOB in its cascading ‘angled’(short towards the nape of the neck, running longer towards the front; check pic below)version. Glad I did! Trust me; it takes years off your face.
First, it is the less experimental and the less daring version of the bob manifestations.
Second, looks naturally good if you have straight yet limp hair.
Third, it is the length-ier version, just less sexier(sorry girls).
So as promised, here’s how to take the look from DAY to NIGHT. You can rock the wavy-fresh-snazzier WOB trend too!
LOB by DAY LOOK –
For fuss free mornings, blow dry your hair whilst rolling the brush inwards at the lengths. Ready!
WOB by NIGHT LOOK –
For a Polished Look: First, be nice to your hair and spray on a heat protection product. Next, curl up the lengths of hair with a curling iron. Finally, run your fingers into the curls and let loose. Head out in style!
For an Edgy Look: Scrunch your hair ends post applying a dollop of texturizing product. How about some sea-salt spray? You may use a diffuser(attach it to the hair dryer) to wave the hair further. The messier, the sexier. Poof! You are transformed.
